Where's the water going?

Standing water has a fix

Pearland sits on flat, heavy clay that doesn't drain well — so after a good Gulf Coast rain, water just sits. You get soggy patches that never dry, a yard you can't mow, mosquitoes, and worst of all, water pooling against the foundation where it can do real damage.

Drainage isn't guesswork. We figure out where the water comes from and where it needs to go, then build a path to carry it there — underground and out of sight. Same trenching and pipe work we do for irrigation, pointed at keeping your yard (and your foundation) dry.

Signs you need drainage work

If any of these sound familiar, water is sitting where it shouldn't.

  • Standing water or puddles that linger after rain
  • Soggy, squishy spots that never dry out
  • Water pooling against the foundation or patio
  • Gutters dumping right next to the house
  • Bare, eroded channels where water runs
  • A low spot in the yard that stays wet
How we fix it

Moving the water where it belongs

We walk the yard, find the low spots and the source of the water, and check how the ground slopes. Then we lay out a fix — usually a French drain (gravel + perforated pipe) to collect groundwater, channel drains for hardscape runoff, catch basins at the wet spots, and downspout extensions to carry roof water away.

Everything ties into a clean outlet that daylights well away from the house, and we backfill and restore the lawn so you'd hardly know we were there. The result: a yard that drains and a foundation that stays dry.

  • French drains (gravel + perforated pipe)
  • Channel drains for patios & driveways
  • Catch basins at the wet spots
  • Downspout extensions tied underground
  • Regrading low, water-holding areas
  • Lawn restored over the work
